Style Inspiration: Slouchy But Chic

This particular installment of Style Inspiration skews more toward some Sunday-afternoon brunch action than the typical Saturday night fare. Maybe a girls night in. A transatlantic flight. Whatever the case, it’s made up of perfect pieces for looking both cute and cozy…not to mention totally stylish. I love a good maxi skirt every now and then–they cover everything, but still cling in all the right places–and a chambray top? Well, that’s just mandatory. A chic hat lets you cover up bed head or stretch yesterday’s (or…Tuesday’s) blowout on for as long as possible. The key to maintaining a stylish look despite a plethora of relaxed staples, however, is to keep serious tabs on your accessories. The dainty chain bracelet and hand full of rings show that the ease of your outfit is intentional and that actual planning went into its styling. After all, if you were legitimately running late or were too hungover to move, you wouldn’t think to put in earrings, select coordinating baubles, or pop on a statement necklace, right? Of course not. Do it up right and check your jewelry game. Want to get the look yourself? Check out our buyables for similar pieces.
