By now, you’ve probably seen Target’s latest crop of commercials featuring their newest designer collab, FEED USA for Target. Promising understated and stylish wares from plates to scarves, the Target-exclusive FEED collection is slated to be summer’s biggest seller. But…why? What’s the deal with FEED? If you’ve been curious, we’ve got the deets. Read on for FEED.
Created and founded by Lauren Bush Lauren, FEED is a fashion line with a mission: to create good products and help to feed the world. Most famous for their iconic graphic print totes (I’m obsessed with mine!), the once-indie brand has been a staple for the fashionably-philanthropic crowd since 2007. Each of FEED’s wares are numbered, and that value corresponds with the number of meals your purchase helps to provide. Though FEED has worked to end hunger in a number of nations–including Haiti, Africa, and Guatemala–proceeds from FEED USA + Target products go towards feeding Americans in need. Aside from helping the needy, the FEED USA + Target collection is huge, super cute, and reasonably priced–a definite perk for savvy shoppers.
Women can shop a selection of clothing (including expertly-tailored, quality denim vests, baseball hats, chambray shirts, scarves, and jewelry), plus new Target-only iterations of FEED’s classic totes. But it doesn’t stop there! FEED for Target also has home goods: throw blankets, bakeware, cookie cutters and more, plus additional items for men and kids. FEED absolutely epitomizes symbiotic shopping! A cute reusable grocery bag for you scores meals for 5, a scented candle 6, and a graphic v-neck 15. Love it. After all, there’s nothing more stylish than generosity.
