I’m always a little wary of blue cosmetics–there’s a reason bright blue eyeshadow has a bad rap, guys–but I’ve been gravitating towards cobalt polish as of late. I love the cool hue against a tan, the nod to summer waters, and the general seasonal freshness. Another perk: even if it does technically qualify as blue makeup, you can test the proverbial trend waters with a cobalt pedicure. Pedis are just an excuse to get a little cray, right? …Regardless, it’s time to get specific!

This week’s Manicure Monday, which combines blue tips and Rachel Zoe–two of my favorite things, comes courtesy of Lacquerous on Pinterest. How fab is that print?! The look is courtesy of Rachel’s signature Rachel Zoe collection, and is inspired by her threads from her Resort 2014 offerings. I absolutely adore fashion-inspired nail art, and incorporating an iconic (though somewhat inconspicuous) print in a manicure is so much more chic than opting for interlocking Cs on your thumbs and pinkies. If you’re similarly obsessed with the look, you’re in luck–Rachel Zoe herself has offered up a tutorial on recreating this, and two other manicures inspired by RZ Resort ’14 on her website.

What do you think of this manicure, Mieuxs? Would you rock cobalt polish?
