After a much anticipated arrival, the new Alexander McQueen store has finally opened in Highland Park Village in Dallas. The store is absolutely breathtaking and I walked out of it as a new woman. While most high-end boutiques are extremely stuffy (like the Saint Laurent store, which is only a few shops down), the McQueen store is bright, and inviting like a beautiful piece of art. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and so very helpful. I am on the market for a killer graduation dress, so I was thrilled to see that the inventory was up to date, with consumer friendly pieces as well as haute couture pieces.Screen Shot 2013-05-05 at 10.01.40 PM

Here are a few snaps of the amazing clothes. Lots of canary yellows, structure, and sweetheart necks. I fell in love with this adorable, chic, canary yellow dress.

Love with the new colors of scarves, ring clutches, and baubles. Everything was unbelievably stunning.

The opening of the new McQueen boutique is supremely refreshing. Dallas has a thriving fashion scene, and who makes a statement better than McQueen? With more high-end designers finally realizing our city’s potential, we can expect the fashion scene here to only  progress. As consumers, we definitely need to support more fashion conscious initiatives because it directly affects our market. So, if you’re in the area, and even if you’re not, make the trip and go check out this unbelievable boutique!
