Too many times have I come across an attractive lady with flawless features, an impeccable style, and the most ratchet pair of eyebrows known to woman. WHY? Why is it so painfully hard to maintain a healthy pair of brows. Eyebrows are so important to looking clean and well-maintained. Those awkward strips of hair are an accessory to be taken care of! Now ladies, I don’t mean to offend, but rather guide you in the right direction if you have gone astray to the path of lush eyebrows. I’m no expert, but here are some things to consider:
- Length: From the most inner part of the brow to the outermost end, it should run along the length of your eye. No more, no less. This is imperative to the overall balance of your face. It looks odd if your eyebrows go on forever and your eyes don’t.
- Thickness: I understand the urge to pluck that one hair, which leads to another, which leads to a pencil line for a brow invariably. We’ve all done it, but it’s important to maintain a bit of thickness. Distinguished eyebrows are a little thicker, and lately, the trendier option. Not to mention, if you want shape, let them grow.
- Naturalness: Which brings me to this point. Natural instead of overly done. Personal preference plays a huge role, but natural brows are easier to maintain. They will save you time & money, and personally just look so much better.
- Maintenance: I’ve talked to many girls that handle their brows in various ways. I’ve tried plucking and waxing, but threading is just so much more precise for that perfect arch. If you want sexy, seductive looking brows, go with threading. Most likely, it’s cheaper than waxing too. I can get away with threading once a month, since my hair growth is slow and I like thicker brows, but it varies for each person. Also, whether you have lush hairs, or thinner ones, don’t be afraid to shade in and play around with shape. Just keep it natural.
If you already have eyebrows that look on point, then you probably know all this, but if you need to fix a few things, hope these tips were helpful and please don’t hesitate to give me your feedback! Naturally, what I feel looks good and what you feel looks good are two different things, but it’s always good to see what’s out there. And hey, if your person style is to have thin, blue eyebrows, rock it! Regardless what kind, eyebrows are a focal point of the face and need attention. Don’t believe me? Look how bizarre we’d look without our two furry friends on our foreheads…
