Cinderella would probably be rocking a pair of Margiela’s with the clear heel if she was caught galavanting after-hours today. She wouldn’t be the only one, everyone would follow suit. Maison Martin Margiela for H&M was one of the first platforms for the popular heel trend (coming off the heel-less fad), but many other designer such as Jeffery Campbell, Zara, and Chloe are all taking a stab at it as well. The trend is on the pricier end of the scale, starting at $50 onwards. The heel is usually made out of acrylic, or perspex, which we know is all the rage. I like it. It’s fresh, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. What say, Mieuxs? Haute or not?
