When Rihanna was spotted at the airport wearing the original $400 Celine Paris t-shirt, bloggers went crazy over the casual logo top. Brand tees have been around for ages, like the YSL tee, but this was something new. The net blew up with Celine replicas all ever eBay, Etsy, and various little stores sprung up the inspired tee like an epidemic.
Celine has been catering to celebrities for quite some time, founded in the 40s by Celine Vipiana, some major figures such as Michael Kors (currently Pheobe Philo) have been creative directors of the brand. The brand itself boasts high-luxury Parisian chic. The signature luggage bag has been seen all over the net (I’ve been eyeing one myself) and the ID tag necklace has inspired all too many designs on sites such as GoJane.com.

NYC blogger Hira (www.buyerbitchwardrobe.blogspot.com) pairs the black Celine inspired tee with fur and fabulous ethnic statement necklaces dressing the basic tee up for a night out.
I pair my casual Celine inspired with some liquid finish leather pants, yellow bar III blazer, House of Harlow sunburst ring and Hermes Collier de chien cuff.
Some have taken it further with funky spin-off shirts such as this “
CeLine Up the Bitches” tee. Personally, I love the versatility of these Celine inspired pieces. It’s a trend that probably won’t last, so I wouldn’t invest in the real tee or necklace (I would invest in the haute luggage bag though). The brand is iconic and here at Mieux & Mieux we are all about more bang for your buck. Mieux & Mieux is weighing in. What do you think about this Celine trend? Cop or not?
